Similar to the Thailand deal, ANA (All Nippon Airways) has now dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia down to $613 CAD roundtrip including taxes ($593 from Victoria).
You can extend the layover in Japan to as long as you want, for an extra $115.
You can also find flights from Victoria (YYJ) or Nanaimo (YCD) for a similar price.
