Vancouver to Singapore and then Manila, Philippines to Vancouver - $457 CAD including taxes | add Japan for $130

ANA (All Nippon Airways) and United Airlines are showing some nice prices on open jaw flights where you fly from Vancouver to Singapore, and home from Manila, Philippines - for a total price of $457 CAD including taxes.
The flight between Singapore and Manila is not included. One way flights from Singapore to Manila generally go for around $80-$100 CAD on Jetstar.
You can also try adding Tokyo, Japan into the mix, and extend the stopover in Tokyo to multiple days. This seems to increase the price by around $130.
So it's possible to visit all 3 countries (Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines) for a total price of around $686 CAD for all flights involved.
