Vancouver to San Francisco | $223 roundtrip inc. taxes

It's kind of amazing that after all these years I've never once posted an airfare deal from Vancouver to San Francisco. This is because SFO is routinely one of the cheapest places to fly to from YVR, and the bottom price never really moves much, and I only like prices that are out of the ordinary.
But in the past day or so, prices have broken through that bottom barrier, and I'd say this is as cheap as I've ever seen this route get. In fact, it's currently cheaper to fly to San Francisco from Vancouver than it is from Bellingham (even using Allegiant to fly to Oakland), which is very unusual.
It looks like prices up to about mid-May have been affected, as you can see on Google Flights Explorer...

You can also find some interesting prices by mixing and matching WestJet and Air Canada/United flights (booking two one way flights, one airline on the way to SFO, a different airline on the way back).

As far as I know, this is not a part of any advertised sale, so these fares could disappear at any time.
