Vancouver to Miami, Los Angeles, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Dallas, or Houston - $197 to $222 CAD roundtrip including taxes

United Airlines is showing a few (emphasis on few) flights from Vancouver to Charlotte, North Carolina and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for between $199 and $222 roundtrip - just a couple of Eastern U.S. destinations that very rarely drop into the $200s roundtrip.
The flights have 1 stop each way, usually in Denver or Chicago.
Update - Vancouver to Dallas, Texas (DFW) is now available for $228 CAD roundtrip.
And Miami, Florida (MIA) is now available for $203 CAD roundtrip.
NOTE: Most of the cheap flights to Miami have 2 stops each way. Scroll down for an update on the dates I've seen that have 1 stop each way.
Update 12/14 - United Airlines is now showing non-stop flights from Vancouver to Los Angeles (LAX) for $197 CAD roundtrip.

^^ look for the dates that are $214 to $239 roundtrip, try a departure date of Feb 20, Mar 31, or Apr 1, 7, 22, 30 or Aug 19 or Sep 2, 23 or Oct 7, 20, 21, 22
Google Flights: Vancouver to Dallas, Texas
^^ look for the dates that are $212 roundtrip
Google Flights: Vancouver to Houston, Texas
^^ look for the dates that are $232 roundtrip. Try a departure date of Oct 24, 31 or Nov 12.
Google Flights: Vancouver to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
^^ look for the dates that are $212 roundtrip, try a departure date of Jan 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
- click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
- look for the dates that are $239 roundtrip or less.
2. NOTE: You may find that these are not bookable on Google Flights (the price jumps up). Instead, go to Flighthub and try searching for the same destination and dates that you found on Google Flights.
Most of the cheap flights to Miami have 2 stops each way. Here are the dates I've seen that only have 1 stop each way

Vancouver to New York City - $358 roundtrip after taxes

UPDATE: September 9th - Take this blog post, and substitute the city of New York for Philadelphia (PHL) or Charlotte (CLT) on United. They've dropped their prices to those cities down to about $329 roundtrip after taxes, across the board, throughout 2011 and 2012.
