Bellingham to Honolulu | $218 roundtrip after taxes

Allegiant Air is showing some cheap June flights from Bellingham to Honolulu, Hawaii.

On Allegiant Air's site, change the drop-down to 'Flight Only' and look for fares in June that are $108.99 after taxes each way.

screenshot:

When booking the fares, you'll have to navigate through the gauntlet of add-ons (hotels, rental cars, activities) that Allegiant tries to get you to purchase along with the airfare. You can politely refuse each one at the bottom of the page.

Also be aware that Allegiant charges extra for absolutely everything involving the flight!

I would suggest not using this airline even if the deal is good. We jumped on the 99 dollar each way deal and were really disappointed in the ethics and dealings of Allegiant. We received no call when they cancelled our flight so we drove to Bellingham and found out with 20 or so other passengers. Many people at the airport waiting on another flight were not able to fly for 3 days with no explanation, missing most of their trip (Reason given was Fog, then mechanical etc). Ourselves, we were able to somehow get onto a flight to Maui when our Honolulu was cancelled, but only after begging the desk people etc. Their customer service hangs up on you/ doesn't pick up at all sometimes. After the whole ordeal of missing one night in our hotel and having to pay to get from Maui -> Honolulu we would have saved by taking a different carrier and would have not had to sleep in an airport. Make sure you have a back up plan if you take the risk!

hmm... seems like most flights arrive at 9:40pm and departs at 7:30am not very good time.

In my opinion it sounds like this airline is being run with little regard for their customers....not unlike Shaw Cable Systems. Too bad, because they could become Canada's No.1 airline to the Hawaiian Islands.

I've flown Allegiant to Las Vegas several times as well as Phoenix and had great experiences with the airline each time. It is true you might get better customer service from a more expensive airline, but not always, look at Air Canada! In my opinion, the cheap fares offered by Allegiant have made it possible for me to travel when I simply couldn't if paying higher fares on other airlines out of Vancouver.

You definitely get what you pay for when flying with Allegiant. I would never recommend flying Allegiant to any of my family or friends. One unpleasant RT flight experience from BLI to LAX was enough for me to write this airline off.
I realize all the airlines are changing to an a la carte pricing structure, but with Allegiant it just feels like nickel-and-diming as much as they can out of you. Purchasing tickets online actually saves the company money, since there are negligible labor costs, but someone this airline justifies a "convenience fee" for this but NOT at-the-airport purchases (which actually involves a labor cost).
I urge you all to say NO to Allegiant and fly with Alaska Airlines! Such better service and benefits!

They only have 5 or 6 planes so if one is out due to mechanical issued it effects the system up and down the line.....I had a friend stranded in Vegas for 3 additional days....the call centre does not exist and never received a response to an online complaint. Terrible
