Vancouver or Abbotsford to Los Cabos, Mexico - $155 to $338 CAD roundtrip [nonstop flights]

Flair Air has announced that they are planning to fly nonstop from Vancouver and Abbotsford to Los Cabos, Mexico starting in February 2022.
Prices from Vancouver start at $258 roundtrip (base fare only). The realistic price is about $361 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on luggage.
Prices are cheaper from Abbotsford and start at $178 roundtrip (base fare only). The realistic price is about $281 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on luggage.
But booking with Flair comes with risk. They've been expanding aggressively with new routes all across Canada, into the U.S., and now into Mexico.
They've been announcing new routes, accepting payment, but not all of the 'new routes' have made it to fruition.
Flair's strategy seems to involve throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.
It's a shame because Flair has been the catalyst for the low domestic prices we're seeing on many routes in Canada for over a year now. WestJet/Swoop and Air Canada have had to respond to the increased competition by dropping their prices.
It would be nice to see this additional competitive pressure on prices to the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean.
But Flair, remember, it only counts if you actually fly the flights you're selling. Now more than ever, travellers need certainty when it comes to planning their vacation.
UPDATE: To compete with Flair, Swoop has dropped the price of their nonstop flights from Abbotsford to Los Cabos down to $157 CAD roundtrip (before luggage). Go to the Swoop website and look for dates in late January, February, March, and April that are $100 each way.
