Similar to their other price drops to European cities, the Star Alliance has now dropped the price of their flights from Seattle to Paris and Amsterdam down to between $470 and $503 CAD roundtrip including taxes for travel in the peak summer season (August 2018).
Some of the overseas legs are operated by Lufthansa. Some are operated by SWISS. Some are operated by Air Canada. Some are operated by United Airlines. Try to choose flights with the first 3 if you can.

How to find and book this deal
1. Try starting with a Google Flights search like this one...
Google Flights: Seattle to Paris, France
Google Flights: Seattle to Amsterdam, Netherlands
2. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and look for the cheaper date combinations. Look for the dates that are in the $500s roundtrip.
From Google Flights you can click through to the airline's website to book these.
4. Or, if you want to book them for quite a bit less ...
Go to Momondo
Search for a flight from Seattle to...
Paris, France (PAR)
or
Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS)
Use the same dates you found on Google Flights.
From the Momondo search results, the booking site that is usually showing these for a low price is the low quality booking site TravelMerry.
TIP #1: Look for the flights where the overseas legs are operated by Lufthansa or Swiss or Air Canada (better than United Airlines). Usually you can get a flight with one of these high quality airlines in at least one direction.
TIP #2: Once your Momondo search completes, try sliding the Max Flight Duration slider on the left down to around 40, to filter out really long flights.
You can also try clicking on '1 stop only' on the left hand side.
IMPORTANT: Even though Momondo is showing you the estimated price in $CAD, many of the booking sites showing these fares are in $USD (including TravelMerry) - so watch out for that.
