As expected, in response to the Qantas price drops, Air Canada has now dropped the price of their * non-stop * flights from Vancouver to Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne Australia down to below $1000 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
1-stop flights from Victoria (via Vancouver) are also available for a similar price.

THABks chris, I had a feeling that air canada would try to match air qantas fair so I waited to book! So I booked for sept 23-oct 4 for $1052. This will be much easier to travel with my son-non stop flight;) I think my son fair is only about $136 which I will add him to my flight. THABks a lot! Too bad my aunt and uncle booked early with air China ( their flights stop over is awful!)
