Flair Air has added yet another new route to their schedule, with introductory prices from Vancouver to Montreal for between $118 and $238 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are non-stop both ways.
$118 roundtrip is the base price, and includes *only* a personal item. Low cost carriers charge extra for *everything*.
$238 roundtrip is the price with carry-on or a checked bag included, for a more fair comparison against other airlines.
Vice-versa flights (Montreal to Vancouver) are also available for a similar roundtrip price.
Abbotsford (YXX) to Montreal is also available for the same roundtrip price. Try starting with this Google Flights search.
UPDATE @ 11 AM PST: Air Canada, Air Transat, and WestJet have responded to this new route announcement and Flair's aggressively low prices by dropping the price of their non-stop flights from Vancouver to Montreal down to $187 CAD roundtrip including taxes. Start with this Google Flights search and click on the departure date box to browse for dates in July, August, September, and October.
