Japan Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Bangkok, Thailand down to between $909 and $987 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in Tokyo, Japan each way.
The next cheapest flights on competing airlines are $1439 CAD roundtrip.
Common Question: Can I extend the stopover to spend some time in Japan as well?
Answer: You can, it adds about $85 to the price (see info below).
UPDATE: While the Japan Airlines flights are not currently cheap, ANA is showing a couple of relatively fast 1-stop flights from Vancouver to Bangkok, Thailand for $966 CAD roundtrip including taxes in November/December. See dates below.
