Vancouver to Cancun, Mexico - $223 to $291 CAD roundtrip | non-stop flights (Mexico City for $256)

Interjet has dropped the price of their non-stop flights from Vancouver to Cancun, Mexico down to between $223 and $291 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The base price is $231 CAD roundtrip, and includes a personal item and carry-on (max 10 kg). A checked bag costs $68 CAD roundtrip.
If you're comfortable booking in Spanish, you can book these flights for even less ($190 CAD roundtrip).
Winter dates are available, all the way up to March 2020.
Non-stop flights from Vancouver to Mexico City are also available for $256 CAD roundtrip ($225 CAD if you book in Spanish).

Cancun: March, June, late August, September, October, November, December 2019 and January, February, March 2020
Mexico City: October, November, December 2019 and January, February, March 2020
How to find and book this deal
1. Go to the Interjet website
2. In the top right corner, change it to CA - English, to make sure you are on the $CAD version of the website.
3. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to...

- Click on 'Search'
- Try dates in one of the months listed above
- You may want to click on 'Price Calendar' when selecting your departure date. It makes it easier to browse dates and prices.
Cancun: Look for flights that are $134 CAD on the way there, and $89 on the way home

If you're comfortable booking in Spanish, you can book flights from Vancouver to Cancun for $190 CAD roundtrip, or to Mexico City for $220 CAD roundtrip.

2. In the top right corner, change it to MX - Spanish, to make sure you are on the Peso currency version of the website.
3. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to...

- Click on 'Buscar'
- Try dates in one of the months listed above
- You may want to click on 'Calendario de precios' when selecting your departure date. It makes it easier to browse dates and prices.
The cheapest prices should show up as $2,700 pesos for a roundtrip flight to Cancun.
When booked with a Canadian credit card, $2,700 pesos will work out to $190 CAD roundtrip based on today's exchange rate, and including the typical credit card foreign exchange fee.
If you use a credit card that does not charge foreign exchange fees, it will be even cheaper.
You could also open two browsers, and have one open to the English version of the Interjet website, and one open to the Spanish version, to help walk you through it.
NOTE: When you get to the 'Buyer/contact' page and it requires a 5 digit zip code, you can just use any zip code from Mexico. Such as: 77537 - a zip code in Cancun.

Update 2/27 - Today there are couple of cheap, last minute flights from Vancouver to Cancun in early March 2019 for $185 CAD roundtrip. The rest of the year is sold out of cheap flights, except for a few dates in September 2019 and January/February 2020.
