VIA Rail Canada is offering youth passes that allow for unlimited train travel across Canada in July for $150.
How to find this deal
1. Go to the following VIA Rail offer page:

2. Scroll down and click on 'Buy This Pass'

Update 3/29 : The VIA Rail website has posted the following message:
"Due to high demand, sales of the Canada 150 Youth Pass are temporarily suspended. VIA Rail is pleasantly surprised by Canadians’ enthusiasm to take part in the Canada 150 celebrations, and the popularity of this product. VIA Rail’s technical teams are working to find the source of the problem. VIA Rail is sorry for the inconvenience the situation may have caused. All efforts are being deployed to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. More information will follow once the situation has been resolved."
Update 3/29 @ 3:45 PM PST - The VIA Rail website is now displaying a new message, suggesting that they have not sold out of the Canada 150 Youth Passes...
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the online booking engine. Due to a persistently unstable reservation system, we are unable to sell certain products, such as the Canada 150 Youth Pass. More info will follow once the situation has been resolved.
Update 3/29 @ 6:30 PM PST - The 'Buy this pass' button is working on the VIA Rail website again, and claims there are 1,867 passes remaining. But the website seems to be crawling when you go to purchase.

Im so disappointed with VIA Rail, why is the iffer made to youth only. What about me.?? You should offer it to reitrees and seniors. With our limited income, this offer would be a great thing for us to yravel via rail which ive always longed to do but cannot afford. i want to go to Montreal.
I hope the president or whoever is in charge of VIA Rail will consoder offering this ro people over 60 years old. PLease.......
