Vancouver to Boston - $162 (CB) to $326 CAD roundtrip including taxes [Nonstop Flights]

Boston, Massachusetts

WestJet has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Boston, Massachusetts down to between $162 and $326 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

The flights are nonstop both ways.

I consider $162 roundtrip to be WestJet's clickbait (CB) price because it doesn't include checked luggage or carry-on. Not exactly a realistic way to travel. It's a price offered primarily to appear to be the cheapest in search engines and then upsell you.

$326 roundtrip is the more realistic price because at least it includes checked luggage.

But those with the WestJet World Elite credit card can take advantage of the clickbait price as it includes free checked luggage.

Re CB I'm an 82-year-old woman who joined the young people in taking a trip to Mexico on a really cheap flight taking only the permitted underseat backpack. It works. I pared down my clothing a bit and still had room for a book, a notebook and a camera.I wore my warm clothes on the flight (in winter you need them on to get to the airport anyway) I kept to the small official size permitted for the backpack, but on WJ you can go a bit bigger if it is squishable and still fits under the seat. I checked nothing. It was fine. These prices aren't just clickbait. They are good deals. It is how we all travelled long ago before they invented wheely-bags! You feel so free at your destination when you can just jump on a bus or a bicycle without worrying about luggage. We don't really need all the stuff that most tourists carry around the world.
