Fiji Airways has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Cairns, Australia down to $884 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Nadi, Fiji.
On the way home, the flights have a 27 hour overnight layover in Fiji.
Carry-on and 1 piece of checked luggage are included.
Cairns is the gateway city to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. Cairns is also about an 8 hour drive from the gorgeous Whitsundays (island group).
UPDATE - These are no longer showing up on Google Flights, but I'm still seeing some working dates on Kayak. I've listed some working dates under step 3 below.
