WestJet is showing one January flight from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for $306 CAD roundtrip including taxes, including a checked bag and a personal item.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
This is a CBO deal (Checked Bag Only). You cannot bring carry-on. However, in addition to your checked bag, you can still bring a personal item (something that fits under the seat in front of you).
If you have the WestJet World Elite credit card, which comes with free checked bags, you can book these flights for $211 CAD roundtrip.
To save money, sometimes couples or families will book one passenger with a checked bag, and the others without.
April 5 to April 13 is also available for $45 more.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
- Browse for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
- Look for the dates that are $231 roundtrip.
2. Click through to the WestJet website by clicking on the 'Ultrabasic' fare.
- Select the 'UltraBasic' fares on the WestJet website, which do *not* include carry-on.
- After the seat selection page you will be asked if you would like to add checked luggage for $45-$47 each way.
3. If you do not care about bringing any luggage at all (just a personal item), it is possible to book these for as low as $211 roundtrip on Kayak or Skyscanner
