Vancouver to Lisbon, Portugal - $556 CAD roundtrip including taxes (add London for free)

British Airways has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Lisbon, Portugal down to $556 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in London (Heathrow) each way.
You can also turn these into a 2-in-1 Multi City trip and visit both London *and* Lisbon for $566 roundtrip (keep scrolling down for more info).
Or you can book these as an Open Jaw, where you fly from Vancouver to Barcelona (or Madrid, or Amsterdam) and then Lisbon to Vancouver, for $577 CAD roundtrip.
Just a heads up that entry to the United Kingdom now requires a Canadian to have an eTA, which costs 10 pounds and is valid for 2 years. BUT if you are just in transit (connecting) through the United Kingdom you do not need an ETA.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Vancouver to Lisbon, Portugal
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
- Browse for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
IMPORTANT: When you're clicking through on Google Flights, and you get to the last page you may see $905 under 'Book With British Airways'. In many cases you may need to keep scrolling down to the 'Book with American' button as shown below. You should see $573 beside this button.
- But sometimes the $573 dates showing on Google Flights jump up in price when you start clicking through. It can take some trial and error to actually find dates that are still $573 after clicking through.

(NOTE: It's fairly likely British Airways will release some more cheap ones from time to time. At least, that's what happened last time. I will keep this post updated with any new dates I've seen).
2. Go to FlightHub or Kayak or Skyscanner
- Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.

1. Start with the following Google Flights Multi City search:
Google Flights: Vancouver to London and then to Lisbon and then back to Vancouver
Vancouver (YVR) to London (LHR)
London (LHR) to Lisbon (LIS)
Lisbon (LIS) to Vancouver (YVR)
2. Try using dates that are similar to the roundtrip dates you found on Google Flights above.
For example, if you found a cheap roundtrip flight from October 29 to November 11, try starting with...
October 29 to October 31 to November 11
You may need to keep the London and Lisbon flights within 2 days of each other for the price to remain low.
Or you can book these as an Open Jaw, where you fly from Vancouver to Barcelona (or Madrid, or Amsterdam) and then Lisbon to Vancouver, for $554 CAD roundtrip
And then it's up to you to get from London to Lisbon. Typically a one way flight from London to Lisbon is around $40-$80 CAD.
