This deal is pretty similar to the Vancouver-San Francisco deal that was posted in mid-March..
Just like San Francisco, I've never before posted a deal from Vancouver to Los Angeles, as it's generally one of the cheapest places you can fly to from YVR, and prices have seemingly never had room to drop.
But lately there have been some cheaper than usual prices showing up on WestJet and Air Canada between Vancouver and Los Angeles (LAX).
In particular, the first two weeks of May seem to be a target for price drops, as you can see from this Google Flights search...

Once you've zeroed in some dates using Google Flights, you can try a flexible date search over at Kayak to get a little more specific...

From Kayak, you can click through to various booking providers to actually purchase the airfares. There seems to be some slight variation in price, but keep an eye out for prices quoted in Canadian dollars vs U.S. dollars (it's starting to make a notable difference again, to the tune of 11%)
For example, from Kayak, if you click through to ...
Air Canada - you'll find the total comes up as $183 USD. At today's conversion rate (1.11), that works out to $203 CAD.
Flight Network - the total initially shows $222 CAD, and Flight Network shows a coupon code for $10 off any flight. The code is 3P10OFFS132 . However, when you go to verify the price, surprise surprise, it jumps up to $230, meaning the actual, final price after inputting the $10 off promo code, is $220 CAD.
WestJet - the total verifies as $224 CAD
Expedia - the total verifies as $227 CAD
Also similar to the San Francisco deal, the flights are non-stop, and it looks like it can sometimes be cheaper to 'mix and match' between WestJet and Air Canada (take one airline down, and a different one back up).
As far as I know, this is not a part of any advertised sale, so these fares could disappear at any time.
I have seen cheaper prices than this from Bellingham to Los Angeles using Allegiant Air (bottom is usually around $170 roundtrip incl taxes). But by the time you factor in Allegiant's fees for everything under the sun and the drive to BLI, this price drop from WestJet and Air Canada are making it worthwhile to fly from YVR instead.
