Aeromexico has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Mexico City down to $307 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are non-stop each way.
There are a large number of dates available throughout 2019 and all the way up to May 2020.
In a survey of favorite cities to visit from YVR that have a relatively short travel time, Mexico City ranked 7th.

September, October, November, first half of December 2019
January, February, March, April, May 2020

- look for the dates that are $332 CAD roundtrip
2. Go to Skyscanner ($307) or Kayak ($326) or Flighthub ($331)
- Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Mexico City (MEX)
- Use the same dates you found on Google Flights.

I just booked this over 24 hours later (16 Aug 22:45) and many of the dates seemed to be gone versus yesterday but many also still available. Thanks so much for bringing the seat sale to my attention... I'm guessing I probably wouldn't have gone next year otherwise.

Hi Chris. We managed to get this deal to come up on google flights but when we went to book it on the Aeromexico website, the prices spiked to around $530 pp, even though we were using the same dates and flights. Couldn't tell if it was different because of Canada-US exchange rate or because taxes and fees weren't initially included?

While Google Flights is very good, no flight search site is perfect at showing real time availability and prices. It could just be that the cheap price isn't available on those particular dates any longer. It may have sold out, and not yet updated on Google Flights. Did you already try those dates on Skyscanner, Kayak, and Flighthub?
If the low price isn't showing up for those dates on any of those sites either, the best thing to try is slightly different dates on Google Flights to see if any dates near the ones you were hoping for are available.
