WestJet has dropped the price of their UltraBasic fares from Vancouver and Victoria to Moncton, New Brunswick down to $271 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in Calgary each way.
These UltraBasic fares are only a good deal for those who can bring checked luggage for free, such as those that have the RBC WestJet Elite Mastercard.
The Economy fares (which come with carry-on luggage) are $445 roundtrip.
July and August dates are available.

1. Start with the following Google Flights search:

- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
- Browse for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
- Look for the dates that are $271-$303 roundtrip.
2. Click through to the WestJet website by clicking on the 'Ultrabasic' fare.
- Select the 'UltraBasic' fares on the WestJet website, which do *not* include carry-on.
3. It is possible to book these for as low as $209 roundtrip on Kayak or Skyscanner
