The list of South American countries experiencing amazing price drops from Vancouver continues to grow.
Today it looks like flights involving United Airlines and COPA from Vancouver to Asuncion, Paraguay (ASU) and Santa Cruz, Bolivia (VVI) have dropped into the mid $500s to low $600s, roundtrip, including taxes.
Update June 2 @ 4:25 PM PST - It looks like the prices have gone back up.

How: Start with one of the Google Flights searches below, and click through to the United website to book. Alternatively, you can try taking the same dates and searching on Expedia.ca
Heads up: The tough part with this one is finding date combinations that don't involve lengthy travel times with overnight stays. Below I've listed some examples of date combinations with the faster flights.

There's opportunities for hidden city fares here. If you remove the duration filter in one of the posted flights to ASU, there is a stopover in Sao Paolo that is cheaper than flying there as the destination.
