The return flight is a separate ticket so you have to pick up your bags in Calgary and check them back in.
Thanks Chris, finally booked our Europe trip!
Matt - you always have to do this when returning to Canada and connecting to go through customs, then recheck bags before taking connecting flight. This is regardless of same of different ticket.
Sorry no that’s not the case. I flew to Paris last October with Westjet and my luggage was transferred for me. Connected it Calgary both ways and the flights were booked as a return ticket.
Still an awesome deal but pointing this out for anyone who might miss it.

Prices just went up before my eyes as I was attempting to book. Now best is $771.
Prices are up over $700! I looked just now. June 5. Bummer
