Vancouver to Paris, France - $619 CAD roundtrip including taxes

American Airlines has dropped their Vancouver - Paris, France flights down to $619 CAD roundtrip including taxes in March, April, and May 2016.
However, the American Airlines flights start you off heading in the wrong direction, with a stop in Dallas. The non-stop Air France flights from Vancouver to Paris for $688 CAD are still a much better deal. An extra $70 is definitely money well spent, to save 18 hours of travel time.
This is a great example of why the lowest price isn't always the best deal. I do always keep this fact in mind when deciding what deals to post.

1. Try a 3 day flexible date search on Kayak, in March, April, or May 2016 to see what's available.
Hit the 'Change' button when you get to Kayak, to try other dates.
Select only the 'non-stop' filter on the left, to only see the non-stop flights on Air France.

AA earns 100% of the flight miles, with the detour, you're going to earn 13k miles on AA or Alaska Miles. The Air France V fare is 25% flight miles, so you'll only earn 2.5k miles on Flying Blue, Delta or Alaska.
