Vancouver to Toronto - $276 CAD roundtrip including taxes [nonstop, July & Aug, Porter]

Today Porter becomes the 6th airline to offer nonstop flights between Vancouver and Toronto.
Porter has operated in Eastern Canada for 16 years and are now starting to expand to Western Canada with some of their 50 new Embraer E195-E2 passenger jets (not a prop plane).
Flights are into YYZ (Pearson), not YTZ (Billy Bishop).
A few things that differentiate Porter:
- free beer, wine & snacks in economy
- no middle seats
- free Wifi
Vancouver-Toronto in Porter's 'standard' economy is currently priced at $276 CAD with a piece of carry-on, which makes them slightly higher than Air Canada & WestJet (currently $250 CAD roundtrip between January and June).
But Porter's July & August fares are the prices that stand out at the moment, as they are 40% cheaper than other airlines in these peak summer travel months. Availability is wide open, with every date available.
