2-in-1-trip: Vancouver to Tokyo, Japan *and* Singapore - $660 CAD roundtrip including taxes

Tokyo, Japan and Singapore

Related to the current great prices from Vancouver to Singapore, it's currently possible to find flights that take you from Vancouver to Tokyo, Japan *and* Singapore for a price of $660 CAD roundtrip including taxes, and allow you to spend time in both destinations.

A non-stop one way flight between Singapore and Tokyo generally goes for a minimum of $400 CAD on it's own.

The key is to look for flights where you're traveling on ANA (All Nippon Airways) most of the time. They're available with United Airlines as well, but ANA is certainly a step up.

Availability for travel

September, November 2017

January, February, late March, April 2018

How to find and book these flights

1. Go to Momondo

2. Change the Trip Type (underneath the first input box) from 'Return trip' to 'Multi-city'

NOTE: The mobile version of Momondo does not have the Multi-city search option. You will want to try from a desktop or laptop.

3. Search for a flight like this:

Vancouver to Tokyo, Japan (TYO)
Tokyo, Japan (TYO) to Singapore (SIN)
Singapore (SIN) to Vancouver

Try one of the following date combinations:

NOTE: For longer trips, you can try mixing and matching the departure and return dates from the list below.

You can also try adjusting the middle date, to give you more or less time in Singapore vs Tokyo, and see how it affects the price.

    Hi Chris
Having a bit of trouble finding the deals. The momondo links above goes to the site without a multi-city flight option. I did manage to find it just from a google search for the site, but flights for the above 2018 dates you've listed only shows up with air china flights and costs around $777-800+ with long layovers

    Hi June,

It looks like the mobile version of Momondo doesn't have the multi-city flight option. You may want to try from a desktop or laptop if you can. I'll add a note about that to the blog post, thanks!

I tried to book this deal in September today, but all the prices has gone up. Then I found and book on the website flighthub that got me the deal for $700. Has anyone use this flighthub website? I got my E-ticket from them, does it mean that I am guarantee on the flights?

Chris Myden on July 8th, 2017

Flighthub is a very popular and well known booking site, and once you receive your e-ticket it should mean that the airline has issued your ticket, so everything is good to go.

Have you received a 13-digit ticket number? Or a 6 character reservation code? If so, you should be able to check your reservation directly on the ANA website. Look under 'Preparing for Travel' -- Online check-in.

Thanks Chris. Your site is awesome. I went to ANa and punch in the e-tix code. I see my reservation there as well. So it should be good. I actually book a red eye flight from Tokyo to Singapore. Saved me a night of hotel cost as well. Now I just need to figure out what to do in Singapore for 7 days. May be side trip to Malaysia? Ha ha

Hi Chris! Love your website, I always look forward to seeing where the next deal is going to be.

Quick question though, I tried looking for the YVR-Japan-Singapore flight, and it only shows up at $1100+ for most of the date options you suggested.

Wonder if its selling out fast that's why it's not as cheap?

    Hi Chris!

I was very interested in booking this trip but unfortunately am not having any luck finding flights with the same pricing anymore on momondo.ca, is this deal no longer available? I was hoping to find something for around Feb 2018 and have tried to fidget with the different dates but came up with no matching overall costs. I was also wondering if there would be any similarly priced multi-city flights plans if I wanted to fly back to YVR from Penang/any city in Malaysia instead of Singapore? Thanks for your time and help, much appreciated! :)
