Seattle to Munich, Germany - $462 CAD roundtrip including taxes | spring travel
1
November
The Star Alliance has dropped the price of their spring flights from Seattle to Munich, Germany down to $462 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way.
NOTE: On a lot of these flights, the stop is actually in Vancouver. On the way home, you are able to leave YVR airport, but only if you do not have checked luggage, which would continue on to Seattle. You must start the journey in Seattle (all airlines automatically cancel the remainder of your ticket once you intentionally miss a flight).
Some of the overseas legs are operated by Lufthansa. Some are operated by Air Canada. Some are operated by United Airlines.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with a Google Flights search like this one:
Google Flights: Seattle to Munich, Germany
2. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and look for the cheap date combinations that are $507 to $525 CAD roundtrip.
From Google Flights you can click through to the Lufthansa or United Airlines website to book these flights.
3. Or, if you want to book them for quite a bit less...
Go to Momondo
Search for a flight from Seattle (SEA) to Munich, Germany (MUC)
Use the same dates you found on Google Flights.
From the Momondo search results, the only booking site showing these is often the low quality booking site TravelMerry.
TIP: On Google Flights, look for the flights where the overseas legs are operated by Lufthansa or Air Canada (better than United Airlines). Usually you can get a Lufthansa flight in at least one direction.
Once your Momondo search completes, you may notice you can click on the message that says 'United Airlines has another X number of results'. Even though these appear to all be United Airlines flights, many of these flights are actually operated by Lufthansa and Air Canada.
If you click on the 'United Airlines has another X number of results' message, it will expand the search results.
If you have a look at the flight times on Google Flights, and compare them to what you're seeing in these expanded Momondo search results, it can help you locate the flights that are actually operated by Lufthansa and Air Canada.
The 'Time of Day' sliders on the left hand side of Momondo can also help with narrowing down the search results to the flights you found on Google Flights.
IMPORTANT: Many of the booking sites showing these fares are in $USD (including TravelMerry) - so watch out for that.
