2. Search for a flight from Vancouver to Auckland, New Zealand (AKL)
Try one of the following date combinations:
Mar 27 to Apr 10 - $817, but 19 hours in Los Angeles on the way home
Apr 3 to Apr 17 - $850, non-stop both ways
Apr 10 to Apr 24 - $850, non-stop both ways
Apr 10 to Apr 28 - $783, non-stop both ways
Apr 17 to May 1 - $817, but 19 hours in Los Angeles on the way home
Apr 18 to Apr 28 - $783, non-stop both ways
Apr 20 to Apr 28 - $783, non-stop both ways
Apr 20 to May 5 - $817, non-stop both ways
You can also try the following Google Flights search to look for more dates that may work:

^^ click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations. Look for the ones that are $944 CAD.
You can also try searching on Momondo - in some cases it seems to be better at finding the flights that are non-stop both ways. The prices are in the low $900s CAD roundtrip.

I've also seen a November 2017 to January 2018 flight (non-stop both ways) for $783 CAD roundtrip. But only on these dates: Nov 26 to Jan 29.

You can also find some pretty great prices from Vancouver to Christchurch and Wellington, New Zealand at the moment, for $863 to $870 CAD roundtrip including taxes. However, these flights have 2 stops each way (usually San Francisco or Los Angeles and Auckland).
1. Try this Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Vancouver to Christchurch, New Zealand (CHC)
Google Flights: Vancouver to Wellington, New Zealand (WLG)
Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
Look for the dates that are around $907 roundtrip.
2. Go to Momondo
Search for a flight to the same destination and dates that you found on Google Flights.
NOTE: After your Momondo search completes, use the Max Flight Duration slider on the left, and slide it down to around 50. Otherwise, you may see some flights with ridiculously long travel times.
Sometimes, you may see a flight show up with 3 stops at the top of the search results. There should be a flight with 2 stops right below it.
