Air Canada is showing flights from Vancouver to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, Vietnam for between $720 and $774 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way (Singapore or Seoul).
These appear to be a mistake price. They're showing up and verifying on some booking sites, but not others.
IMPORTANT: Do not book anything non-refundable (such as hotels) for at least 48 hours until it becomes clear whether or not the airline has actually issued the tickets.
UPDATE @ 3:30 PM PST - It's been getting more difficult to find dates that are still working on Cheapoair. They've been a little easier to find on Flight Network, but it feels like this could be over soon.
UPDATE @ 4:25 PM PST - I would call it officially over, although as of 4:25 PM Nov 6 to Nov 20 is still working on Flight Network. I haven't seen any other working dates in the last half hour.

Tips
- After your search completes, you may need to scroll down a bit to find the $674 to $775 roundtrip fares. They don't always appear at the top.
- You can also try mixing and matching the departure and return dates above.
- You can find a lot more dates than these, these are just example dates. Most dates I've tried in October and November have worked.
- Quite a few dates in January, February, and March 2025 also seem to work. Although most seem to be in the low $800s roundtrip, and the layovers are long.
- I've seen cheap ones with a return date as far away as the end of April 2025, but it does seem like the latest you can depart is sometime in March.
- With Flight Network, after your search completes you may want to click on 'Filter By' (top right) and set the 'Travel Time' filter to under 30 hours. And then scroll down to look for the cheapest flights.
What about flying into Hanoi, and home from Ho Chi Minh?
- I've tried a few Multi-City searches, and the cheapest I've seen are around $755 roundtrip.
- It seems cheapest to fly into Hanoi (HAN) and then home from Ho Chi Minh (SGN)
1. Go to the Cheapoair.ca website
2. Change the search type to Multi City
3. Search for a flight like this one:
Vancouver (YVR) to Hanoi (HAN)
Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Vancouver (YVR)
