For Black Friday, Cathay Pacific has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines, Cambodia, and China down to between $650 and $750 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in Hong Kong each way.
Carry-on and a checked bag are included.
You can also likely find Multi City Open Jaw flights for a similar price (fly into one city, but home from another).
So far, Cathay Pacific has kept these flights off of Google Flights, making the dates somewhat of a challenge to explore.
To find them, you have to dig through the Cathay Pacific website as described below.

How to find and book this deal
1. Click on one of the following links to be taken to the Cathay Pacific website, which will display deals from the destination you're interested in.

2. Click on 'Select' beside the city you are interested in...
3. Click on 'Search Flights'
4. Click on the price in the $600s roundtrip.
At this point you can also try selecting a different departure date nearby.
TIP: At this point you can also try clicking on the little right arrow to bring up a date selection calendar that makes it easier to explore for cheap prices...
5. Select your return flight and look for the options that add Zero Dollars (+CAD 0) to the price.

The easiest way to find these is to start by looking for a deal to a city in the same country.
For example, first look for a deal to Bangkok using the links above. And then during the search process, change the destination city to Chiang Mai.

2. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to one of the destinations mentioned above.

Cathay Pacific also has a code out that can bring down the price of these flights by another $50
You do need to be registered for Cathay's reward / membership program. It's free to join, but a little annoying that they require your phone number to register.
- Log in to the Cathay Pacific website with your Cathay reward / membership account (you need to create an account if you don't have one).
- Search for a flight using the technique described above.
- At some point during your search you'll see a spot to enter a discount code.
