Vancouver to Kauai, Hawaii - $297 to $333 CAD roundtrip including taxes [nonstop flights]

WestJet has dropped the price of their winter and spring 2022 flights from Vancouver to Kauai, Hawaii down to between $297 and $333 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
Flights to Kauai are usually more expensive than flights to Honolulu and Maui, which quite regularly bottom out in the $400s roundtrip from Vancouver these days. (Vancouver to Maui is available for $338 CAD roundtrip, and Honolulu is also available for $338 roundtrip)
On November 8th, Hawaii made it easier for Canadians to visit by allowing antigen tests for entry, and the test no longer needs to be from anywhere special. (Hawaii used to only allow PCR tests from 'approved lab partners' in Canada).

Bringing one of the Switch Health or Azova self-test LAMP kits to Hawaii for your test to return to Canada is becoming a popular option.

Google Flights: Vancouver to Kauai, Hawaii
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations. Adjust the trip length at the bottom.
- Look for the dates that are $339 roundtrip
2. Go to the WestJet promo code page and try the same dates to bring the price down further. The promo code expires Jan 27 at midnight.

WS has also dropped the March(Break) prices, but not to the same level. The price are with in 15% of the lowest since posted in May (Schedule open) FYI
Thanks Jim! Spring/March break is roughly March 14-25 I believe? The decent prices in March ($420-$450 roundtrip) seem to be in the first half of the month and then March 28th to 31st. The dates around March break still seem pretty pricey
The Air Fares from YVR to Hawaii at BC March Break (March 11 to 27 2022) are never cheap. They can be cheaper as has happened today November 24 when YVR>KOA MR11 LIH>YVR MR27 on WS dropped from $1400-1500 to $1067, still well below the average$1310 since the schedule was posted. Other airlines( AC and US-based with a stop) are usually cheaper.
BTW: You are aware that Southwest-WN has Hawaii Interisland flights for $U39-44 to $U79-84. WN fare includes 2 free checked bags, carry-on, and free date changes/ cancellations for travel credit. That makes it affordable to fly a triangle into 1 Island and return from another especially via HNL. WN is flying now from BLI with a stop to HNL, KOA, OGG and LIH. Aloha!
