There are some pretty interesting prices at the moment on Air Canada and United Airlines to 3 out of 4 Hawaiian islands. Oddly, the one island that has not dropped is Oahu (HNL) which is usually the cheapest to fly in and out of.
By now you probably know that Bellingham has cheap flights to Hawaii, thanks to Allegiant Air. There's been $200 flights in years past, although lately prices have not been nearly as cheap, with prices generally bottoming out from Bellingham in the mid to high $300s roundtrip after taxes.
So, considering these flights are from YVR, without driving across the border, and you're not flying Allegiant Air, and the price is roughly similar to what you'd pay out of BLI, it's a pretty great deal, especially because it's to Hawaiian airports that are traditionally more expensive.

Cheap date combinations to Kona seem to be more difficult to find than to the Maui or Kauai.
As far as I know, this is not a part of any advertised sale, so these fares could disappear at any time.
