Business Class - Vancouver to Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, or Huatulco Mexico - $585 CAD roundtrip including taxes

Aeromexico has dropped the price of their Business Class flights from Vancouver to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico down to $585 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way in Mexico City.
You can also find flights from Vancouver to Puerto Vallarta in business class for $50 more.
And flights from Vancouver to Huatulco in business class for $128 more.
I'm a little conflicted about these.
On the one hand:
- The Business Class price is about the same as current/typical Economy Class prices to SJD, which is highly unusual.
Normally Aeromexico charges somewhere in the range of $1000-$1600 CAD roundtrip for these flights.
- Winter dates are available (January, February, March 2025).
On the other hand:
- These flights do connect through Mexico City, and SJD is a destination most people expect to fly nonstop to. These flights take just under 10 hours, versus 4.5 hours for a nonstop flight.
- All passengers need to go through immigration and customs at MEX, and 1.5 hours can be very tight.
- Aeromexico Business Class isn't truly the all out business class experience on short haul flights. Only their routes using the Dreamliner have lie flat seats, and this isn't one of them.
Between YVR and MEX you can expect recliner seats in a 2-2 configuration. Between MEX and SJD it will be recliner seats in a 2-2 configuration, or 3-3 with the middle seat blocked out.
- There's an Aeromexico business class lounge at MEX, but as mentioned above, you wouldn't have time for it.
What about turning these into a 2-in-1 Multi-City trip, visiting both Mexico City and Cabo?

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with one of the following Google Flights searches:
Google Flights: Vancouver to San Jose del Cabo
Google Flights: Vancouver to Puerto Vallarta
Google Flights: Vancouver to Huatulco
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
- Adjust the trip length at the bottom to browse for cheap date combinations.
- Look for the dates that are $652 roundtrip (for Cabo) or $712-$788 roundtrip (for PVR, Huatulco).
2. Go to Skyscanner
- Change the fare type to 'Business Class'.
- Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to your destination.
- Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
- The price will be cheaper than what you see on Google Flights.
What about turning these into a 2-in-1 Multi-City trip, visiting both Mexico City and Cabo?
It adds about $170 to the price. Still a pretty good deal considering nonstop Business Class flights to Mexico City go for around $1200-$1700 roundtrip.

2. Change the Cabin Type from Economy to Business Class
3. Search for a flight like this one:
Vancouver (YVR) to Mexico City (MEX)
Mexico City (MEX) to San Jose Cabo (SJD)
San Jose Cabo (SJD) to Vancouver (YVR)
Try dates that are similar to the list of dates above.
Example: March 9 to March 11 to March 19
