China Southern has dropped the price of their April and May 2019 flights from Vancouver to the Philippines, Thailand, India, Bali, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, and Malaysia down to between $454 and $550 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Guangzhou, China.
China Southern is actually a pretty good airline (4 star Skytrax rating). I often see people confuse China Southern with China Eastern, a lower quality airline.
You can also fly into one country, and then home from a different country, and keep the price the about the same (see instructions below).

I also tried departing April 16 and it works for that price
April 16-May 13 for Philippines for that price
I tried to find those prices to Bali, but It does not showing me the price under $500
It does look like they've gone up in price. They all relied on that one cheap return date (April 29th). Once that date sells out, it bumps up all the prices.
